The jacarandas have already peaked, but you can get a feel for their purpley-blue color from this photo, taken inside the compound common area looking out over the security fence. P. thinks they are a little Seuss-like, and I agree. More pictures here. My apologies for not getting more pictures while our street was lined with them.
